Knox Burger Archive, ca. 1969 - ca. 2000.

The Knox Burger Archive contains correspondence and manuscripts of many notable literary figures, including Lawrence Block, Malcolm Braly, Robert Byrne, Phil Cammarata, William J. Caunitz, Peter A. Huchthausen, Robert Mason, Donald McCaig (who also wrote under the name Steven Ashley), Datus C. Proper, Donald E. Westlake, and Robin A. White. There are also receipts, contracts, reviews of some of these writers' works, and correspondence with the London literary agency Curtis Brown. Burger's original organization of his papers has been preserved as much as possible.

Knox Burger is an editor, writer and journalist living in New York City. While serving in World War II, Burger contributed to "Yank", and then after the war to such publications as "Collier's."
